BRAND, WEB DESIGN + MANAGED SERVICES
A husband-and-wife duo running an independent real estate practice in Detroit, with a shared love of the city's food scene woven into how they show up for their community. The brand needed to anchor their housing expertise while making room for a weekly food-and-drink blog extension that gives their audience a recurring reason to return.
WARM, AUTHORITATIVE, COMMUNITY-ROOTED
Becker Home Advisors
Strategic Narrative
The Brief
Becker Home Advisors needed a brand and website that earned trust at first glance. The independent advisor model lives or dies on credibility — clients are placing one of the largest financial decisions of their lives in someone's hands, and the digital presence has to reflect that weight before the first call.
The Strategic Decisions
First, the brand system leans warm and authoritative without slipping corporate. The house-and-key mark anchors the identity in something tangible rather than a generic real estate icon, and the palette pulls from earth tones that read as established without feeling stuffy.
Second, the site architecture is built around the listing inquiry. Every section above the fold guides toward contact, and the supporting content gives prospective clients enough context to feel confident before reaching out.
Third, the brand system extends across listing materials, social templates, and client-facing documents — what the visitor sees on the website matches what they receive when they walk through a property or sit at the closing table. Consistency builds trust, and trust closes deals.
The Outcome
The site does the pre-selling. By the time someone fills out the contact form, they understand who Becker is, how the work happens, and why this team is worth a conversation over the dozens of other agents in the market. The result is fewer cold inquiries and more qualified ones.

Here’s what the Beckers think of our partnership…
“Working with Dssentials on our website/brand/social media presence has literally been the best decision we ever made!
Their combination of structure and creativity (how does that even go together?) have helped us identify our target audience, our goals, and our “why”. They nudged us out of our comfort zone and challenged us to go in a direction we never imagined.
While we are elated with the way our website looks, what they have contributed to our brand and to our motivation is indescribable. We have not only gotten to know them professionally but also on a personal level and can’t say enough about how great they are!”
